Living here
Renters, Airbnb and elevators at Redstone Path Townhouses
Do mostly owners or renters live here?
Too few deals in the last 24 months to read the owner and renter mix reliably. Ask me and I will pull the building’s history.
Can you Airbnb a unit at Redstone Path Townhouses?
No active City registrations here right now. In Toronto you can only host in your principal residence, a whole unit for at most 180 nights a year, with a $390 yearly registration and 6% accommodation tax. You cannot buy here to run it as a full-time Airbnb. Check the condo’s rules in the status certificate before you count on it.
How reliable are the elevators?
Ontario requires residential buildings to report any elevator outage lasting 48 hours or more, and this address has none on record. Elevators still need modernizing every 25 to 30 years, so check the reserve fund study for the date.

Before you buy here
Five things the listing will not tell you about Redstone Path Townhouses
- Reserve fund health. Ask for the latest reserve fund study and its date. A thin fund in an older building usually means fee jumps or a special assessment.
- Special assessments and big repairs. Check the status certificate for planned levies and for balcony, garage, window or elevator work.
- Insurance deductible. Find the corporation’s deductible for water damage. If it is higher than your own policy covers, raise your coverage before closing.
- Fee trend. Compare this year’s budget with last year’s. Rises of 2–5% a year are typical; bigger jumps need an explanation.
- Lawsuits and rules. Look for legal claims against the corporation, and for rules on pets, short-term rentals and leasing.
Send me the status certificate and I will flag anything that matters before your conditional period runs out.

Redstone Path Townhouses is a small 1979 complex set on two private paths near Mill Road, in the part of west Etobicoke that runs right up to the Mississauga border. It is quiet, it is close to some of the best parkland on this side of the city, and with only 62 homes it does not come up for sale often. I’m Jatin Dua, RE/MAX Quantum Realty.
Quick answer
Redstone Path Townhouses is a 62-home townhouse condominium at 1–28 Raintree Path and 1–37 Redstone Path, near Burnhamthorpe Road and Mill Road in Etobicoke, Toronto, within the city’s Eringate-Centennial-West Deane neighbourhood area. The corporation, York Condominium Corporation 492 (YCC-492), was registered on 12 September 1979. Condos.ca lists Nadlan-Harris Property Management as the manager, and a parking garage, visitor parking and barbecues as amenities.
Redstone Path Townhouses at a glance
Two paths, one small corporation
The complex is split across two private streets, Raintree Path and Redstone Path, with 62 homes in total under YCC-492. Registered in September 1979, it is a little younger than many of the townhouse corporations in north Etobicoke, but it is still well into its fifth decade.
The path layout keeps the complex off the main roads. Homes face onto internal lanes rather than Burnhamthorpe or Mill Road, which means less traffic noise and a calmer place for children. Those lanes, the walkways, the lighting and the drainage belong to the corporation, so their upkeep comes out of the shared budget.
When you look at a listing, confirm that the address is on Raintree Path between 1 and 28, or Redstone Path between 1 and 37, and that the status certificate says YCC-492. That is the simplest way to make sure the fee, rules and reserve fund you are reading about belong to the home you are buying.
Parking, barbecues and the garage question
Condos.ca lists a parking garage, visitor parking and permission to barbecue. For families, that combination covers most of what matters day to day: a place for your car, somewhere for guests and trades to park, and the ability to cook outside in summer.
The garage is also the item I would look at hardest. In complexes of this period, a parking garage can mean garages attached to each home or a shared underground structure. If it is shared and underground, the concrete deck, waterproofing membrane and drainage are among the most expensive components the corporation will ever repair. Ask which type it is, when it was last inspected or repaired, and what the reserve fund study plans for it.
On barbecues, check the corporation’s rules on where grills can be used and whether there are fuel restrictions. Permission at the complex level does not always mean every patio or balcony qualifies.

What to expect from a 1979 townhouse
A complex registered in 1979 has been through at least one cycle of roofs, windows and exterior doors, and possibly a second. How those projects were paid for, through the reserve fund or a special assessment, tells you a great deal about the corporation’s planning.
Inside, condition will vary. Some homes will be largely original and others fully renovated. I would look at the electrical panel, the plumbing, the furnace and air conditioner, the windows and the basement, and then ask which of those the corporation maintains. The declaration decides, and corporations of this age do not all split responsibilities the same way.
Condos.ca lists Nadlan-Harris Property Management as the manager. I could not confirm how long they have been in place, so ask. Stable, experienced management is a real asset in a small complex, where a handful of volunteer directors carry the board.
West Etobicoke, near Centennial Park and the Mississauga line
This is the quieter, greener end of Etobicoke. The neighbourhood area borders Mississauga to the west and sits close to Highway 427 and Pearson Airport, which makes it practical for anyone who drives to work in Mississauga, the airport employment area or along the 401 and 427.
Centennial Park, to the north, is one of the city’s largest parks. It opened in 1967 for Canada’s centennial on part of a former dairy farm, and it includes the Centennial Park Conservatory, the Etobicoke Olympium athletic centre, a stadium, arenas and a BMX track left over from the 2015 Pan American Games. New ball diamonds, volleyball and pickleball courts and soccer pitches were unveiled in 2026.
Much of the surrounding area was developed in the 1960s, including West Deane Park, built largely by developer Edmund Peachey and named after his wife Deane. It is an established area of houses and townhouses, and that stability is part of the appeal. The panel on this page shows the transit and walking times from the complex.
Burnhamthorpe Road itself has a long history. It began in Toronto as a tolled plank road in the 1840s, running west from the old Village of Islington through Etobicoke Township, and only a short stretch of it lies inside Toronto before it crosses into Mississauga, where it becomes one of that city’s main east–west streets. Living here, you are as connected to Mississauga’s shopping and jobs as you are to Toronto’s.
Pricing and fees
Nothing was listed for sale or for lease here when I prepared this review, so I cannot give you a current asking range, and condos.ca does not list what the fee includes. With 62 homes, a handful of sales a year is normal.
Use the panel on this page and my building sold report for aggregate sold prices and price per square foot. Because the market is thin, compare condition, size and parking type rather than relying on one median figure.
When a home does come up, ask for the current fee, what it covers, and how it has changed over five years. Add your own heat, hydro and insurance if they are separate, so you can compare the true monthly cost with nearby townhouses and with apartment-style condos along Burnhamthorpe.

Amenities at Redstone Path Townhouses
There is no gym, pool or party room listed, so the fee goes into the homes, lanes, garage and grounds rather than shared facilities. With Centennial Park and the Etobicoke Olympium nearby, most owners will not miss an in-house gym, and the barbecue permission makes outdoor space at home more usable in summer.
Jatin’s honest take on Redstone Path Townhouses
Who this building suits
Families who want a townhouse with parking in a quiet, established part of west Etobicoke, commuters who drive to Mississauga or the airport area, and people who value being close to a large park more than being close to nightlife.
What I’d want you to check
Get the status certificate, the latest reserve fund study and two years of minutes. On a 1979 complex, I want to know the age of the roofs and windows, the type and condition of the parking garage, what is planned for the internal paths and drainage, and whether a special assessment has been discussed. Confirm the manager and exactly what the fee includes.
The value question
Townhouses in this part of Etobicoke sit in a neighbourhood where detached homes are expensive, so a well-run complex can be a sensible way to get family space at a lower entry price. The corporation’s finances decide whether it is good value. A healthy reserve and a well-maintained garage make this an easy recommendation. Deferred work would make me cautious, however good the location.
